Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust and scalable data pipelines on the GCP platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and address complex data requirements.
- Optimize and troubleshoot data processes for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and integrity throughout the enterprise data life cycle.
- Stay abreast of the latest GCP technologies and industry best practices for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of recent experience as a Data Engineer on the Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficient in designing and implementing data solutions using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java.
- Extensive experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a remote enterprise environment.
