We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Finance Analyst to join a prestigious university located in the heart of London. This is an immediate start position, offering a competitive salary and excellent career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month-End Processes: You will operate month-end processes, including accounting journals and working with stakeholders to agree accruals and deferrals.
• Management Accounts: You will prepare monthly management accounts, dashboards, KPIs and variance analysis, flagging emerging issues for escalation.
• Budgets and Forecasts: You will support the Senior Finance Business Partner in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: You will prepare complete, evidence-based balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: You will undertake ad hoc analysis as required to support the Senior Finance Business Partner.
• Lease Accounting: You will maintain correct lease accounting.
• Income Review: You will review scheduled income and supporting documentation around cash reconciliations provided by letting agents, collection agents.
• VAT Returns: You will produce VAT returns for the subsidiary.

Requirements:

• Understanding of AP and AR procedures is essential.
• Excel Skills: You must have strong Excel skills, including proficiency with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Qualifications: You must be part-qualified and working towards an accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.

Desirable:

• Experience in property/estates is desirable.
