p>Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large public sector organisation based in West Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Year End Accountant. The role will be for 6 months with a strong possibility of extension and will be paying 250 - 400 dependent on experience.
Duties:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external auditors
- Responsible for technical and year end accounts
- Develop cash flow reporting and variance analysis, co-ordinating information from Financial Management, Income and Capital Finance Teams to inform the cash flow forecasts
- Provide VAT advice to other Finance Departments and responsible for the VAT returns
- Responsibility for capital accounting, balance sheet management and charitable funds
- Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and month end reporting
Person:
- Strong with systems - including MS Excel
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management
