Your new company
Hays Education are working with a partnership school to recruit a Year 4 Class Teacher to cover a Maternity ASAP. There is a potential for this role to be extended to the end of the academic year for the right teacher. You will be working in a two-form entry school in the heart of Coventry (CV3 area) easily commutable from Warwickshire and Nuneaton.
The school was rated 'Good' by Ofsted and encourages a positive and safe environment for pupils in order to achieve their highest potential, encouraging a diverse curriculum aiming to promote the wellbeing of its pupils.

Your new role
In your role as a Year 4 Class Teacher, you will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver fun and engaging lessons and activities for your pupils. You will be required to mark and assess pupil work, amending the work when needed to suit different abilities. This could be an exciting opportunity for an ECT to lead their own KS2 Class. Ideally, you will have experience teaching Key Stage Two Year Groups and be comfortable supporting SEN in the class with the assistance of a Teaching Assistant.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• At least two years experience teaching
• A current DBS or willingness to obtain one
• A passion for teaching and learning
