We are seeking an exceptional, experienced SEN Year 1 Teacher to join our supportive and friendly team within a mainstream Primary school in Portsmouth.
As an outstanding teacher with mainstream or SEN teaching experience, you will have the ability to work collaboratively with our team of professionals and be proactive and resourceful.
In this SEN Year 1 Teacher role, you will be responsible for teaching a class of Year 1 learners, with a diagnosis of autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex medical needs.
You will provide care and pastoral support to meet their individual needs, using your nurturing, empathetic, and patient approach to foster excellent communication with your pupils.

Requirements - SEN Year 1 Teacher:
- Must have UK QTS
- Suitable for experienced Key stage 1 or SEN teachers
- Experience of SEN is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Committed and reliable
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Enthusiastic and caring
