Workforce Planning Data Lead
Location: Winchester, Hampshire
Rate: 400 - 500 per day umbrella

My client, a leader in innovative solutions, is looking for a highly skilled Workforce Planning Data Lead to join the team in Winchester. This is a thrilling opportunity to shape and drive the creation of a Workforce Planning Capability, working alongside the Head of Workforce, Systems & Insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Quality Management:

    • Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations to ensure high-quality data essential for Workforce Planning, encompassing people data and organisational structural data.

  2. Data Orchestration and Delivery:

    • Manage the orchestration and delivery of data and reporting for the creation and integration of the workforce planning capability and its associated governance processes.
    • Accountable for the hand off of data and insights required for People Plans, such as talent pipe lining, OD Steerco s, Budgeting, and forecasting processes.

  3. Workforce Packs and Stakeholder Visibility:

    • Curate and deliver Workforce Packs for senior leaders, providing real-time visibility of workforces, targets, and gaps in a clear and easy-to-consume manner.
    • Gather requirements and adapt offerings to align with organisational changes.

  4. Workforce Analytics and Reporting:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for Workforce Analytics and headcount data, translating complex data into compelling and informed stories to influence outcomes.

  5. Organisational Design Support:

    • Provide data and reporting support for Organisational Design work, including modelling, forecasting, production of costed as is and to be organisation charts, and data visualisations.

Requirements:

  • Industry-recognised data science/management qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in HRIS technology & Reporting, preferably Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Significant experience in Workforce Planning Technology, preferably OrgVue.
  • Strong financial awareness, including a high-level understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Proven ability to tell stories and influence outcomes using data.
  • Experience in managing data and reporting tasks associated with Organisational Design.
  • Experience in managing third-party suppliers.
  • HR and O365 Technology literate (familiar with Microsoft Office, HRIS, and Workforce Planning Technology such as OrgVue or similar).
  • Significant experience in merging diverse data sets.
