We are recruiting a Web Designer who has experience leading and supporting cross-functional teams.

Brief job description:
Lead on engaging with teams across the council to identify what they need from a new intranet platform.
Support teams across the council to audit, develop and transfer content to the new intranet.
Ensure all content is up-to-date, accessible and meets the council's needs.
Develop content and tools to support an improved intranet for council staff.
Contribute to ongoing management of intranet and council website as necessary.

Essential:
A good working knowledge of Content Management Systems and website management
Experience of liaising with internal stakeholders
Experience of some or all of the following: design, user experience, content and navigation

Desirable:
Internal communications experience
Experience of Jadu CMS
Experience and knowledge of the latest web accessibility standards
Knowledge of analytics and producing data/reports for stakeholders

Key Details:
. 3 months contract
. Based in Oldbury
. 5 days a week on site
. Inside IR35
