VIP Desktop Support Lead Technician - 100% onsite - London
Prestigious London based financial services client is looking for an accomplished VIP Desktop Support Lead to be the escalation point for the team as well as be hands-on and provide high level client service to internal users and external clients. You will manage the desktop remediation and be the escalation point for the whole Desktop support team. This role is inside IR35 and you will be required to use an umbrella @ 700 per day or 596 per day PAYE. Due to the nature of the role, this job required 5 days on site. The ideal candidate will come from an investment banking / investment management background.
Essential
Act as the Lead for the Desktop support team
Prior experience of being the escalation point for desktop and workplace technologies environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Able to support a large desktop team with escalation queries and users of all levels with more complex desktop queries
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure within set deadlines.
Ability to provide support to clients and engage with other business management teams
Experience in financial services helpful - especially providing high level / high quality trader support
