Day Rate: 500/day

Harvey Nash are recruiting for a UX Delivery Manager for a public sector client. This role will be hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week required on-site, in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. There may also be some local travel required across Scotland.

The rate for this role is 500/day, inside IR35. Role will require candidates hold the Right to Work in the UK and a Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate.

This role will support the User Experience Workstream with Programme Delivery. Key duties include:

• Responsible for managing key corporate technology projects and workstreams
• Effectively manage scope, costs, timescales and risks associated with deliveries
• Experience of delivering through the lifecycle of a project (config/build/test/release)
• Understand the relationship between your specific work items and overall delivery of the wider corporate transformation programme.
• Communicate credibly with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Use appropriate programme and project tools to manage your work, in line with programme governance.
• You will also have an understanding of Confluence/JIRA and a wide range of project tools

Essential Skills

• Significant project delivery experience, managing multiple work items in a complex and fast moving environment
• Broad knowledge of technology and demonstrable experience in delivering successful technology and business change.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience of managing project deliveries involving complex data requirements awareness of relevant legislation and information governance concepts and requirements.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working in the public sector with awareness of processes, standards and constraints.
