Job Description: The role involves working closely with the Head of Front Office Technology at a prominent hedge fund to develop a new Fixed Income trading platform from the ground up. The Senior UI Engineer will be responsible for the complete development of data-driven user interfaces, collaborating directly with Fixed Income Quants. This is a 12-month contract position based in London with a hybrid working arrangement. The role requires significant experience in UI development and offers a competitive day rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end development of a next-generation Fixed Income trading platform.
- Build data-driven UIs for the front office.
- Collaborate directly with Fixed Income Quants.
- Architect, design, and build UIs from scratch.
Skills Required:
- 6+ years’ experience building UIs with Vue.js, Typescript, AG-Grid, and React.
- Finance experience within a front office/trading environment.
- Exposure to Python.
- Experience working on greenfield projects.
Salary (Rate): £850 daily

They are looking to build a next-generation Fixed Income trading platform entirely from scratch which will underpin and drive the growth plan to double their AUM to 2 trillion over the next 2 years! I am looking for a Senior UI Engineer (Contract) to own the end-to-end development of this initiative, building data driven UIs for the front office and working directly with Fixed Income Quants. This is 12 month contract initially, based in London with a hybrid working set up. £850 day rate inside IR35.
Qualifications: 6+ years’ experience building UI’s with Vue.js, Typescript, AG-Grid, and React. Finance experience within a front office/trading environment Exposure to python Experience working on greenfield projects, architecting, designing, and building UIs from the ground up
