Summary: The Tooling Training Manager will oversee the development and delivery of the company's Tooling Academy, focusing on identifying training needs and creating tailored training programs for toolmakers. This role requires practical experience in toolmaking or engineering, along with relevant qualifications. The successful candidate will ensure effective training delivery and compliance with standards while managing the training budget. The position is based in West Drayton and is offered as a 12-month fixed contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess Training Needs: Conduct skills gap analyses within the toolmaking workforce.
- Develop Training Programmes: Design and develop tailored training curricula and materials.
- Implement Training: Coordinate and deliver engaging training to toolmakers and apprentices.
- Evaluate Effectiveness: Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
- Budget Management: Manage the training budget for cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance: Ensure training programmes comply with relevant policies and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest training methods and techniques.
- Collaboration: Work with professionals and managers to address training needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and support.
Key Skills:
- Relevant Engineering qualification.
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (desirable).
