I am recruiting for a local authority who is looking for someone to be responsible for coordinating and monitoring activity within the Private Sector Housing and Landlord Engagement Team to ensure a smooth end to end processes for engagement with residents, landlords and managing agents.
Responsible for keeping records up to date, ensuring procedures are followed and that any changes in legislation, local bye-laws and other external factors are reflected accordingly.
Job Description
Ensure regular data cleansing of data and assist Private Sector Housing Manager in running performance reports.
Prepare all Housing related notices following the necessary investigations, ensuring that procedures and legislation are complied with.
Analyse and act upon the information returned in relation to each property and carry out further investigations if ownership and responsibility for the property is complex, unclear or contentious.
Responsible for all administrative work in issuing HMO Licences from receipt of application to issue of licence and Civil Penalty Notices.
Prepare legal bundles for prosecutions of persons not complying with the above legislation and issuing of CPNs.
Maintain back office system, for notices served pursuant to the Housing Act and relevant legislation, and to ensure that all notices are entered correctly, showing the duration of the notices, who the notice was served against and ensuring all relevant information is recorded.
Maintain a contract register of temporary accommodation suppliers and be the primary point of contact for contract relates issues; include supporting the service to deliver an effective property and contracts management service across all types of temporary accommodation.
Process applications for grants lead coordination and recording off all Housing related grants, ensuring ongoing compliance through nomination period.
