Job Description: The role of Interim Finance Manager involves overseeing the financial operations of a Peterborough-based SME on a 3-6 month contract with potential for permanent placement. We're delighted to be exclusively partnered with a Peterborough-based SME who are recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager on a 3-6-month contract that does have longer-term permanent potential too.

You will be joining a small finance team that currently oversees all of the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Following a change of strategic direction, there is now a need to automate the existing processes within the team, so your role will be to look at how the business can modernise their current processes to achieve their goals and free up more time for value-added work, whilst also playing a key role in keeping the running of routine financial management ticking over.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Sound financial management experience, ideally within an SME environment
  • Good working knowledge of a Sage product
  • Ability to partner across the business to understand needs, but then work independently to implement the changes

In return, the role offers:

  • £25 - £30 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (equivalent)
  • Hybrid working - 1-2 office days per week (only 1 day is mandatory)
