Arthur are partnered with a leading reinsurer who are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to play a pivotal role in steering the technical designs of solutions within a dynamic project environment. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that the developed solutions are secure, performant, cost-effective, easy to support, and above all, drive adoption to deliver the promised value to the business.Core Technical Skills:
- Security in Azure Environment:
- Proficient in securing applications in Azure using tools such as Azure Sentinel and Azure Defender.
- Experience with Azure Web Application Firewall, Gateway, Azure RBAC, and Azure AD.
- Build & Release in Azure Environment:
- Ability to design solutions within the MVC framework.
- Expertise in guiding the development of apps using ReactJS and NodeJS.
- Hands-on experience in building microservices and API orchestrations using Azure Functions.
- Proficient in guiding the implementation of Azure DevOps, Code Repos, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Management of Apps in Azure Environment:
- Hands-on experience with audit and observability tools.
- Lead in defining performance NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements).
- Steering cost management/FinOps processes with Platform Ops.
- Experience in Azure subscriptions management.
- Solid Data & Integration Experience:
- Practical experience with integration and orchestration tools for various data consumption patterns (batch, stream, adhoc, cached, etc.).
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Power BI, and Microsoft Graph.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, IT, and 3rd Party developers to define architecture epics and features (Architecture Runway) for applications, platform, and data.
- Work closely with Product Manager and Delivery Leads to steer delivery planning from both technical and business perspectives.
- Provide quality assurance for lower-level designs produced by 3rd party suppliers and project teams.
