We are hiring a highly skilled and motivated Tableau Data Anlyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for utilising your technical expertise to transform data into actionable insights, particularly focusing on the end-to-end collections journey.
You will work closely with two Lead Performance & Forecasting Analysts, leveraging their business experience and understanding of new data and requirements post a full business system transformation.
Location: Reading OR Glasgow
Contract: 6 months.
Mode: Hybrid with 1-2 days onsite required either in Reading or Glasgow office
Key Responsibilities:
Data Expertise: Apply your expertise in specialist analytical tools, preferably in Alteryx and Snowflake, to develop new data processes that define key metrics and provide analytical insights driving decision-making within the collections team.
Automation and Efficiency: Take the lead in establishing automation of data processes, implementing KPI tracking, and improving existing Alteryx/Snowflake processes to increase overall efficiencies.
Tableau Expertise: Utilize Tableau to create regular tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards that cover multiple areas across Collections. Enable self-service central reporting for various stakeholders, including Core Finance, Contact Centre, Debt Collection Agencies, Performance Managers, Credit Risk, Technology teams, Compliance, Legal, Business, and Fraud.
Collections Performance Analysis: Create tracking and regular anaysis of the performance of customers entering collections, that can assess the effectiveness of collections strategies, monitor movements in and out of collections, and providing understanding around customer interactions and behavioral indicators.
Financial Reporting: Develop automated month-end financial reporting and tracking against forecasting submissions for entrants, involuntary churn, and bad debt provision.
Adhoc Support and Investigations: Provide ad-hoc support for performance data investigations, enabling a deeper understanding of the customer journey and addressing specific business challenges.
Technical Support and Upskilling: Offer technical support to the wider analytics team and contribute to upskilling efforts across Tableau, Alteryx/Snowflake
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Tableau with Alteryx or Snowflake
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in a relevant field (eg, Business, Finance, Analytics, Stats, Maths) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in collections analytics and performance tracking
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
