Job Description

The core responsibility of the Works Examiner is to provide independent examination of construction works and ensuring their compliance with design (AIPs, Design and Check Certificates, for construction drawings etc.) on the A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet scheme. This includes identifying alterations (proposed during construction) that are significant enough to require additional approval from the Technical Approval Authority (TAA) e.g. impacting structural behaviour, long term durability etc. The Works Examiner is responsible for informing Technical Approval Authority about such changes.
