Vacancies: 5 steel fixers

Individuals or established teams of steel fixers are equally encouraged to get in touch.

Main duties

• Position and secure reinforcing bars also known as rebar
• Reading engineer drawings detailing type of bar and spacing to use
• Using tools such nips and electric rebar tiers
• Attaching spacers and chairs that determine the amount of concrete to cover

To be successful, you will

• Hold a valid CSCS card
• Preferably hold a valid NVQ in steel fixing
• Have a minimum of 3 years steel fixing experience
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references from previous employment as a steel fixer
