My client, an Internation Bank, is looking for a SQL Test Analyst to join their existing team, this will be sitting across their Financial and Economical Crime Teams.
Accountabilities
- Daily Scrums includes (remote) stand-ups, sprint planning
- Verifying source data for extraction
- Verifying business transformation SQL logic with developers
- Verifying target table data by comparing with source data table to ensure no data loss
- Analysing complex data from various sources and verify the business transformation SQL logic to compare the datasets between the source and the target data-warehouse (ETL)
Required skills and experience
- Writing and analysing complex SQL Queries to verify data discrepancies across the source to target databases
- Solid experience in Testing, with knowledge of testing techniques such as exploratory testing, Data Integration and end to end testing
- Use testing techniques to ensure features are created to the highest specification.
- Flag potential issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Develop automation test scripts.
- Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, development productivity, and maintainability.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs, as well as run tests for all releases.
- Experience using SQL and Relational Databases.
- Passionate about delivering testing in the most efficient way possible.
- Preferred if you have worked in Fintech or Financial Services.
