Job description



We are Looking for Highly Qualified Ophthalmologist for NHS and Private work.



Must have GMC registration with valid right to work in UK.



Candidate must hold Three years of experience working in NHS.



candidate can start asap. Must have two updated references from your current employer or last three years of employments.



Pay rate may vary for NHS and Private hospitals.



In private the work is Only clinics base.



PAC,POC,YAG PAC, YAG LASER .



Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential




  • Full GMC registration with licence to practice

  • Medical Degree

  • General training in ophthalmology to specialist level with some sub-specialty experience



Desirable




  • CCT, CESR or equivalent. Higher degree

  • FRCOphth/Part III/MRCOphth



ExperienceEssential




  • Demonstrate ability to conduct clinical and operative care in ophthalmology

  • Demonstrate special expertise in the areas of subspecialty of oculoplastics

  • Higher specialist training in ophthalmology or equivalent



SkillsEssential




  • Ability to self motivate and be involved in teaching and training

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to organize and manage clinical workload

  • To undertake effectively the role of clinical fellow in a large teaching hospital

  • good personal and interpersonal skills

  • ability to communicate effectively through good verbal and written skills

  • Evidence of ability to communicate with patients, colleagues and staff at all levels skills should be highly developed

  • Experience of teaching undergraduates and trainees

  • Experience of routine clinical audit



Desirable




  • Knowledge of the organisation

  • NHS and the Government's agenda for its modernisation

  • Interest in taking part in research projects

  • Computing skills: ability to use word processor, spreadsheet programme and web browser

  • Management training and experience



Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract



Salary: 80.00- 125.00 per hour



Expected hours: 45 per week
