This role is for an experienced solicitor to work as a member of the team of solicitors within the in-house Law Department providing legal services to Church congregations, Councils, Committees and other associated bodies as required. The Church is one of Scotland’s largest charities and its biggest membership organisation. This role provides the opportunity to handle a wide and interesting range of work, focusing primarily on property matters but also advising on a broad range of compliance functions and contracts. The successful candidate will have an excellent academic background, hold a current practicing certificate from the Law Society of Scotland, and will be keen to use their existing skills to develop their expertise across a broad range of subject areas. It is essential you have the right to work in the UK before applying to work with us. You will be asked to provide proof of your eligibility to work and remain in the UK if you are invited to attend for an interview.
