Job Title: Software Developer - Foundry And Palantir
Location: Hybrid - occasional travel too London Bridge office
Salary/Rate: Between 650 - 800/day Inside IR35 based on experience

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our big four consultancy clients!
They are currently looking for a skilled Software Developer with Foundry and Palantir experience to join their team for a six-month contract.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
As a software developer you'll join our growing engineering community to deliver high value, world-class products and services to the business and our clients. Responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team of data specialists, software engineers, product managers, business analysts and platform architecture specialists to help our stakeholders leverage technology to solve complex problems and drive great outcomes.
Working closely with our business analysis and product managers to translate our clients needs into solutions in the Foundry platform.
Helping to identify opportunities to embed Foundry into our existing and new client offerings.
Creation of reusable modules to further enhance the functionality available to non developer users.
Development and preparation of Foundry technical materials including in-platform demos for business development activities.
Working with our internal and external stakeholders, including wider teams to drive the development of innovative digital assets for the company and our clients to reuse and commercialise in the market.
Provide ongoing support to stakeholders, addressing technical and functional issues as they arise and ensuring optimal performance of our deployed solutions.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience developing data integration pipelines, schematic object layer (Ontology) and applications in Palantir Foundry
A strong background in engineering, preferred fields include data engineering, computer science, data science, mathematics, and software engineering.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL / ELT processes.
Able to work with internal and external stakeholders to translate business problems into operational improvements and end-user solutions.
Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets to solve business problems and drive insight at pace.
Experience building data integration pipelines.
Experience working in a collaborative software development environment including knowledge and understanding of agile software development practices.
Experience working with Python (ideally PySpark) and SQL.
In addition to the above, the following skills and experience would also be desirable:
Palantir Foundry Amplify certification or similar data engineering certification
Experience with other data integration platforms such as Azure Synapse analytics or Databricks.
Experience working with other big data technologies such as Hadoop, Presto, Redshift or similar;
Experience working with data from ERP systems including (SAP and Oracle)
