VIQU has partnered with a leading consultancy who deliver critical projects in energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing, with this role being part of the nuclear team.

Our client is recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of nuclear solutions on client site. This will revolve around installations of electrical equipment such as control panels.

The successful candidate must be able to support the Engineers with installation, test, and commissioning activities, so a background in Electrical Engineering is paramount.

This role is based onsite in Chester.

Key skills & responsibilities for the Site Manager:

• Strong experience as a Site Manager within nuclear
• Background in electrical engineering & ability to support electrical installation/test/commissioning activities
• Hold a valid Safety Passport
• Awareness of NEC3/4 contracts
• Nominated point of contact for Health & Safety, First Aid. Relevant certifications required.
• CDM Training relevant to site
• Regular reporting & client liaison
• Good people management skills staff & subcontractors
• SC Clearance
