My client is a leading and highly reputable civil engineering firm, there are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Engineer to join their dedicated team. Job Responsibilities:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful execution of our major civil engineering project in the North West. Your responsibilities will include:
Surveying and Setting Out: Accurately carry out surveys and set out works to ensure alignment with project specifications and drawings.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and project requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, fellow engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and coordination on-site.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring the project progresses efficiently and meets deadlines.
Health and Safety: Prioritize and promote a strong safety culture on site, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and relevant software.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
