I am working alongside a South Western based civil engineering contractor. They are looking to on-board a site engineer to manage the engineering across multiple projects in the Dorset region.

My client specialises in both commercial and industrial developments throughout the South-east and west.

Site engineer responsibilities: 

• Site set up and setting out.


• Produce as-built surveys. 


• Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations


• Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station instruments & AutoCAD.


• Provide engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries answered.


• Ensure all Quality Assurance documentation is carried out to a high standard.


• Health and safety compliance. 

Site engineer requirements: 

• CSCS card.


• Diploma or Degree in civil engineering or associated study.


• SSSTS or SMSTS - Desirable.


• Full UK driving licence.


• Right to work in the UK.


• Proficient in AutoCAD and associated construction software.


• Previous groundworks, civils, earthworks and structures experience.
