Job Description: The Service Manager role at NHS Ayrshire and Arran involves leading and managing the Specialist Community CAMHS, CUAIT, and Community Eating Disorder services at University Hospital Crosshouse. You should be able to demonstrate a strong interest or experience in working with children and young people and be committed to working towards the continuing redesign process of the CAMHS model of delivery of the best care for children and young people. Applicants who are strategic thinkers, able to embrace change, creative and committed to working together to continue to develop CAMHS and Community Eating Disorder Services should apply. This post forms an integral part of Pan Ayrshire CAMHS and CAMHS leadership team and provides leadership and management for Specialist Community CAMHS, CUAIT (CAMHS Unscheduled Assessment and Intensive Treatment Team) and Community Eating Disorder service which is an all age service.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job

Nursing or Allied Health Professional Qualification and active Registration with Regulatory body is Essential

Demonstrable & relevant experience in a clinical managerial role at band 7 level or above in relevant clinical setting with experience of managing and leading teams or other relevant experience transferrable to the position.

Evidence of post-registration / qualification learning and development

Understanding and Experience of working within the sphere of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and or Eating Disorder Services.
