Service Desk Analyst - 150 per day (Inside IR35)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Desk Analyst to provide first line technical support to internal customers across our public sector client. This 3 month contract is paying up to 150 per day inside IR35. Core hours are 9am - 5pm and onsite work in Oxfordshire is required 2-3 days per week.

As the Service Desk Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support, advice and guidance to end users reporting IT incidents and issues, resolving them promptly within agreed SLA targets
  • Managing service requests end-to-end in line with policy
  • Engaging with technical teams to facilitate incident and request resolution
  • Keeping users updated on progress and communicating effectively at all levels
  • Taking ownership through the full life cycle to deliver high customer satisfaction

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • ITIL knowledge
  • Previous service desk or technical support experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Problem solving aptitude, logical thinking and accuracy under pressure
  • Ability to manage your own work and follow processes

As a temporary contractor, you will need to have NPPV3 clearance or be willing to go through the clearance process.
