Senior Subcontract Buyer

ARM are delighted to be supporting a business based in Luton with the recruitment of a Sub-contract Buyer on an initial 12-month basis.

The primary focus for this role will be to deliver innovative supply base solutions and require management of Sub-contract commitments.

The Role:

* Lead the delivery of Sub-contract management activities.
* Performance of complex assignments requiring cross-functional collaboration.
* Focal point for suppliers regarding contract and supply base matters.
* Identify solutions for complex areas of potential risk.
* Work with stakeholders at all levels.
* Management of Export Compliance, restrictions and third-party rights for all procured items.

Requirements:

* A good working knowledge and understanding of Procurement within the Defence / Aerospace industry.
* Sub-contract experience.
* A good understanding of the Commercial and Legal.
* Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
* A good understanding of Export Compliance.
* A high degree of knowledge of business processes.
* Familiar with SAP would be desirable.
