DBS Required for This Role Tbc

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with experience in implementation design and development lifecycle of Revenue, Online, and Corporate Applications. You will have a strong technical background and expert knowledge in software engineering techniques, cloud platforms and electronic document control systems.

Key accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and configure applications, components, and tools according to technical plans.
• Responsible for development plans, forecasts, and development budgetary estimates.
• Create technical material in support of governance processes such as architecture and change review.
• Fixing software application defects in accordance with agreed developer operations practices.

Key requirements:

• Extensive experience of developing software of complex systems in multi-vendor environments under significant pressures of time and cost
• End to end solution delivery of bespoke software
• Comprehensive testing of applications including functional, integration, automation, performance, and user acceptance testing
• Expert in development language such as C#, Java, Javascript, SQL, and Power Shelf
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyse complex systems, spot trends, draw conclusions, and produce specifications.

If you are successful in securing this role, please note that for the entire duration of this contract, regardless of extension you will be working this role at the equivalent PAYE rate that has been advertised.
