Responsibilities include
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and manage project budgets.
- Conduct accurate cost forecasting and risk assessment.
- Oversee procurement activities and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Provide expert advice on cost-saving opportunities and value engineering.
- Prepare and evaluate payment applications and invoices.
- Monitor project costs and financial performance, making recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in dispute resolution and contract administration.
- Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors as needed.
Desireable
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- RICS or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
