Senior Python Engineer - Contract - Outside IR35 - London - £550-600 per day

A leading digital product consultancy who harness a cutting edge approach to design and tech are looking to hire a Backend Engineer, specifically a Senior Python Developer, to join the engineering team. In this role, you will ensure an excellent customer experience throughout the different projects.

In this role you will design, build and test data extractions, transformations, processes to support high throughput reporting data pipeline. Design and implement APIs, infrastructure and backend solutions using industry best practices. Support our team with monitor, test and continuously optimise your solutions as well as being able to attend client meetings where you may be expected to explain your solutions to non-technical audiences.

Required Skills/Experience:

* Good understanding of the Python standard library and modern Python coding, testing, debugging and automation techniques
* Experience in collaborating with Data Science and experience in translating Jupiter Notebook code into a production environment.
* In-depth knowledge and experience of data storage and querying with several database solutions such as Big Query, PostgreSQL,Elasticsearch.
* Have experience building data pipelines and ETL workflows using Apache Airflow
*Experience with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform)
