About the Project:



Decommissioning Encapsulation Plant, DEP

Feasibility design phase of the DEP which is required to grout containers containing Contact Handle-able Intermediate Level Waste to support site wide decommissioning operations.

Contact Handle-able Intermediate Level Waste, CHILW

Appraise and select design of a project to design a Decommissioning CHILW Container (DCC). The DCC is concrete box which stores CHILW un-encapsulated for up to 20 years prior to encapsulation, and interim storage at SL prior to long term disposal in the GDF.



About the Role:



Produce and update process engineering deliverables to support the appraise and select design phase. The role will include work within a multidiscipline design team and with technical departments. Process engineering deliverables include feed specification, waste product description, process description, flowsheet and basis of process safety.



Essential Qualifications and Experience:



Chartered process Engineer

Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of an engineering schedule to quality and cost.

Experienced in delivering work for SL (preferred).
