Senior Performance Analyst (Inside IR35)

Contract Term: 6 Months                 

Contracting Authority: DWP

Location: Hybrid - London, Manchester or Leeds office Twice a Week

 

The Digital Performance Analyst will be responsible for the design, delivery and support of Google Analytics-based solutions that use Universal Credit data. They will sit within a multi-disciplinary team building solutions that share a common purpose of maximising the value, usability and stability of UC data.

As a Senior Performance Analyst your main responsibilities will be to: 

 

  • Work with the Digital Project Manager to understand the roadmap and priorities of their business area.
  • Coordinate workloads with other digital performance analysts and data scientists in your area to ensure focus is on the highest priorities.
  • Understand the needs of the service users and how the service is going to measure if they ve been met.
  • Nurture relationships with multi-disciplinary agile teams promoting analysis and driving continual iterative improvements through evidence-based decision making.
  • Take a leading role in the development of the performance frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the service, build dashboards and reusable reports to communicate key metrics.
  • Work with web analysis tools to gather data and provide insight on citizen user journeys.
  • Provide guidance on data collection from multiple sources to measure a service.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to upskill colleagues on the usage of Google Analytics data.

 

You ll have relevant experience in:

  • Experience of relevant tooling in a range of Performance Analytics roles.
  • Google Analytics.
  • Google Tag Manager.
  • SQL / BigQuery.
  • Looker Studio.
  • You can turn complex data into compelling, clear and actionable stories.
  • You can present insights and visualisations in clear ways to communicate complex messages.
  • You can communicate negative and positive information to stakeholders - Working with, and influencing, senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with data from a large public service (Nice to have).
