Location: Onsite in Greater Manchester

Duration: 3 months (Initial Contract, Outside IR35)

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage robust network solutions in a multi-vendor environment.
• Lead the deployment and optimisation of Cisco, SD WAN, Juniper, and Checkpoint technologies.
• Conduct network assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and changes.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Network Engineer with proficiency in Cisco, SD WAN, Juniper, and Checkpoint technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing network solutions for large-scale environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to address issues in a timely manner.
• Leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
