My longstanding client is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer/Cisco Collaboration Engineer to join a Project Team on an initial 6 month contract, based in Central London.

The successful Senior Network Engineer will have a solid background of Cisco Collaboration technologies and will play a pivotal role in analysing business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements. Your expertise will contribute to the design, enhancement, and integration of robust, scalable, and efficient infrastructure. You also will be at the forefront of driving initiatives that deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions aligned with the internal company and Cisco's technology standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute core technical aspects supporting infrastructure implementations and deployments related to Cisco Cloud Collaboration Technologies.
• Manage & resolve incidents through effective problem management, incident management, and change management processes.
• Develop precise project specifications and lead proof of concepts to test new capabilities and technologies.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party support for escalated issues.
• Provide technical input for creating, maintaining, and implementing content and standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Voice, Video, and WebEx technologies, with a focus on Cisco Cloud Collaboration tools and VoIP protocols.
• Contribute to ongoing sprints by working on prioritized/assigned features.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A demonstrable background of supporting voice, video, and Cisco Webex platform on and off-premise.
• Solid experience of VoIP, Video, and Webex topologies.
• In-depth technical knowledge of Cisco Collaboration Technologies
• Hybrid Calendar, WebEx App, Video Conferencing, Room OS 11, Cloud Calling, Control Hub Administration,
• Site Service Administration, Jabber, and VoIP Protocols (SIP, MGCP, SCCP).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong analytical skills to address service problems of moderate to high complexity.
• Excellent communication skills, able to deal with vendors, 3rd parties and stakeholders across the business as needed.
• Relevant Cisco and Networking certification
• Scripting and automation skills are a plus.
