Job Description
The Senior Learning & Development Consultant is responsible for setting the L&D agenda and delivering the relevant programmes throughout the organisation. Responsibilities will include:
- Actively lead, manage and build positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to promote and facilitate the L&D strategy.
- Design learning programmes that are aligned with the organisation's objectives and values, and demonstrate a strategic understanding of how they are embedded within the organisation.
- Proactively monitor the success of these programmes through appropriate metrics and agreed KPIs.
- Audit, evaluate and obtain feedback from stakeholders on all L&D initiatives.
- Identify best practice, ensure value for money and encourage greater innovation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and success in delivering different styles of learning techniques, to offer a varied and diverse L&D offering to all employees.
- Work closely with leaders across the organisation and gain a full understanding of their functions and training requirements to design learning curriculums that align to key priorities and objectives.
- Effectively manage the L&D budget, continually reviewing all suppliers to ensure quality of delivery and value for money, and as required work with Procurement team to compliantly and cost effectively engage new third party training providers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to fully utilise the agreed learning management platform, ensuring it adds tangible value to the business.
- Establish a central knowledge hub for employee communities to self serve learning content and knowledge.
