Job Title: Senior HR Advisor (15-month Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Birmingham, hybrid after probation (3 months) and occasional travel to other sites

Salary: Up to 45,000 + 5,400 car allowance

My client is looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team during a period of significant expansion and transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to managers across various departments.
  • Work closely with the HR team to contribute to the growth and transformation of the business.
  • Up-skill and support managers in HR practices and policies.
  • Play a vital role in influencing positive change within the organisation.
  • Act as a full HR generalist, covering a wide range of HR functions
  • Provide transactional payroll support


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR generalist, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of HR practices.
  • Confidence in providing operational HR support and advice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team, fostering a close-knit and supportive working environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other sites as required.
  • Transactional payroll experience
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
