Leading Business Services company is looking to recruit a Senior Group Financial Accountant on a 6 month temp to perm basis. Based in London, this role will support the Group Financial Controller to prepare the Group's reporting and develop the reporting processes.

Key responsibilities will include: Preparing Group Annual and Interim Report & Accounts Preparing Group monthly management accounts for the Board Preparing monthly consolidation and associated journals Responsibility for Group Chart of Accounts Ensuring Intercompany is correctly recorded Working with Property Director to understand Group's property strategy and impacts in IFRS 16 Preparing Board and Audit Committee papers as required Supporting external audit process Supporting development of Group Finance manual and accounting policies Ah hoc projects

The candidate:

Qualified accountant ideally practice trained Excellent technical accounting knowledge including IFRS Experience of preparing Group consolidations Excellent communication skills Ability to manage workload and work to sometimes tight deadlines Team player with "can do" attitude Advanced IT skills
