Senior Finance Analyst
up to £60k depending on experience and qualifications
Hybrid Working / Central London

12 month FTC + view to go Perm!!

I am exclusively partnering with a Global Retail Brand in London who are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the team This role does have a view to go permanent for the right candidate and will suit a confident analyst who is able to communicate and business partner well with the wider team and business at all levels.

Reporting into the UK Finance Manager your main responsibilities include:

Responsibility for UK Head office cost centres encompassing the following for this area:

  • Month end process, including accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Presentation of monthly performance to head of departments, demonstrating an understanding of variances on the P/L
  • Preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecast, working closely with commercial team
  • Year-end reporting including preparation of audit schedules
  • Monthly business partnering with the head of departments and directors
  • Develop existing regular reporting, focusing on the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of information, with the aim of leading to enhanced business decision making
  • Support the testing and implementation of new initiatives into financial reporting processes
  • Compiling and analysing data as required to support business decision making and assisting the UK Finance Manager with adhoc analysis

Skills / Requirements:

  • Part Qualified, Finalist or QBE Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with previous experience in Retail preferred but not essential
  • Quality Focus and attention to detail - provide timely, relevant and accurate insight within UK Retail for senior stakeholders
  • Can build strong relationships across the multiple teams (both Finance and non-Finance)
  • Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise workloads
  • Can adapt and thrive in a changing and challenging environment
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Good team player
