Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical expertise in Java microservices and Kubernetes to guide the development team.
- Drive the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, ensuring the team is using the latest technologies.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Effectively manage and allocate resources to meet project timelines and deliver high-quality results.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback for professional development.
- Client Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and goals.
- Act as a key point of contact, ensuring clear communication and managing client expectations.
- Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in technology solutions.
- Communication and Consulting:
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Serve as a consultant, advising clients on technology strategies and solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and clients, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in Java microservices development and Kubernetes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and deliver results.
- Excellent communication and consulting abilities, with a track record of successful client engagement.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Cloud platform experience (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- DevOps practices and tools.
- Container orchestration tools beyond Kubernetes (eg, Docker Swarm).
- Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
