Senior Electronic Systems Engineer - £600 -£800PD Inside IR35

12 Month Contract - Onsite

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to join our team and help produce bespoke solutions to support the timing, televising, and organisation of client events.

The successful candidate must have a degree in electronics engineering (or equivalent) and a strong background in embedded systems development and engineering design, with experience in working with networking and serial protocols, video encoding, and RF systems.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have excellent communication and planning skills, along with the ability to create professional documentation. They should also have a calm and logical approach to problem-solving and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team. A valid UK driving licence is desirable.

Experience required:

• Strong background in the engineering domain, with experience in embedded systems development and support, especially full lifecycle
• Engineering design of products with electronic elements and components
• Architecting or assisting in the design of embedded systems
• Key areas of relevant skills include Python, C, Linux, and schematic capture/PCB design

Desirable:

Working with networking and serial protocols (e.g. Ethernet, CAN, RS232); video encoding (e.g. H264) and transmission protocols (e.g. MPEG TS); and RF systems

• Integration of embedded software with digital or analogue hardware
• Developing for an RTOS (such as QNX)
• Linux kernel driver development
• Using MATLAB and Simulink
• Development with the Xilinx MPSoC family
