p>A brilliant, globally-renowned scientific research organisation is in need of a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to help navigate the Commercial Finance team through a period of change, overseeing a team of 5 or 6 qualified accountants and helping define strategy and a target operating model. This interim role will report into the Head of FP&A for an initial six-month period, will pay circa 500/day (inside of IR35) and will be based in the Central London office two days per week. It is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the world's most influential institutions and a team of talented and passionate individuals.

As the Senior Commercial Finance Manager your role will include:

• Leading a team of six qualified accountants providing finance business-partnering support to leadership across the organisation including budgets, forecasts and some month-end work
• Overseeing Operational Expenditure
• Working closely with the SLT on producing a target operating model for the Commercial Finance Team
• Supporting and mentoring others across the Commercial Finance Team

The ideal Senior Commercial Finance Manager will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA/CIPFA or equivalent)
• Have experience leading commercial finance teams within fast-paced environments
• Be a champion of equality and diversity
• Have experience leading teams through periods of change
