Senior Business Analyst (Inside IR35)

As a Senior Business Analyst your main responsibilities will be:
- Encourage and promote Agile methodologies across functions, setting standards across the function and ensuring these standards and methodologies are followed. Work to educate the BA teams working across the functions on Agile principles, methods and tools to support their development.

- Translate the business problem and user needs into a set of detailed requirements for the solution that align to best practice methodology, with the appropriate use of epics, features, user stories and defined acceptance criteria.
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment across business and technical stakeholders. Ensure issues and risks raised are resolved in an appropriate manner. Operate beyond the product/ service level, managing stakeholders across the organisation.
- Define test scenarios and conditions for use throughout the test cycle of each sprint and work with testers and developers to identify defects & resolutions and clarify any existing ambiguity.

You ll have relevant experience in:
- Able to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Able to recognise when something does not work and encourages a mind-set of experimentation. Can adapt and reflect, is resilient and has the ability to see outside of the process. Able to use a blended approach depending on the context. Able to help teams to manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work and work to agreed minimum viable product (MVP)
- Responsible for investigative work into problems and opportunities in existing and new services. Drives the analysis and collection of information and creation of to create recommendations for service improvements. Analyses large amounts of complex information and uses it to produce solutions.
- Sets strategy and manages resource allocation for solution development programmes. Liaises with client functions to establish business requirements and identifies, proposes, initiates and leads these programmes.
- Influences stakeholders and manages relationships effectively. Builds long term strategic relationships. Facilitates and delivers the business outcomes.
- Possesses good understanding and experience of established business analysis tools and techniques.
- Can undertake cross-cutting analysis across numerous feature/product teams to identify gaps, potential duplication, waste, conflicts and to form clear joined up recommendations.
- Have a deep understanding of Agile approaches and principles, encourages business analysts to play key role in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experienced in coaching, mentoring, peer reviews, providing a friendly ear, creating opportunities, identifying areas for development and more.
- Can demonstrate advocating for the business analysis profession promoting what it is, demonstrating how it add values and how the role works with others.
- Confident in selecting appropriate Business Analysis techniques and tailoring them to meet the needs of what you re working on.
- Can demonstrate critical thinking ensuring the business problems are understood, not being afraid to ask difficult questions.
- Experienced in identifying and building relationships at all levels of the organisation.
