Cyber Security

Location: Birmingham (hybrid working working 1 day per week in the office)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 6 Months, likely to extend to 12 months

We are looking for a senior business analyst to support our Cyber Security program, initially for 6 months but with the potential to extend to 12 months.

We would like the person to start as soon as possible to support projects already in flight.

What you will be doing:

• Review our current strategy and roadmap for delivering a cyber secure aware organisation
• Identify areas where policies or standards need to be updated or created
• Leading workshops with key stakeholders in both IT and the wider business
• Propose a governance structure for approval and enforcement of Cyber security policies
• Develop Policies and standards
• Contribute to establishing a target operating model for a Security Operations Centre

You will have:

• Previous experience working on Cyber security initiatives, particularly Cyber essentials and cyber essentials plus
• Good understanding of the different types of cyber-attacks and their impact on users
• Previous experience with the specification and creation of a Security Operations Centre
• Previous experience in writing security policy documents
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly communicating with senior leaders
• Experience working on complex programs which consist of multiple projects
• Previous experience in requirement engineering of complex projects
• Previous experience working in Higher education or the public sector is desirable
