Here at Remedy Tutors, we are looking to appoint teachers and tutors to help young people achieve their academic goals to prepare for their school entrance exams all the way up to their first place at university. We cover all core subjects from primary school to university level and beyond - We are looking for a fantastic English tutor that specialises in SEN.

Responsibilities:

• Assess student's progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills across core subjects.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and confident to express themselves.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to student development.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and adapt them to meet the needs of individual students.

Requirements:

• Display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Exhibit a passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on student's lives.
• Showcase creativity and flexibility in lesson planning, adapting to different learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain a patient and empathetic approach when working with students facing learning challenges.

We are currently working with over 50 local authorities and virtual schools across the UK supporting students with supplementary provision and alternative provision requirements. The situations of the students we support varies and can include young offenders, teen parent or have medical needs.
