Are you an experienced Humanities Teacher looking for temporary work?

We are currently recruiting a Full-time Humanities Teacher to support our client in the Bristol area. Our client is looking for an experienced Humanities teacher to support them on a temporary basis covering long-term sickness. The lessons will be planned in advance, so will need the ability and confidence to deliver to the students. This client is requiring the covering teacher to be available until possibly the end of the term.Are you reliable, passionate and enthusiastic individual who is looking for the next stage in their career. Role and Responsibilities: Be self-motivated. Able to demonstrate initiative. Teaching lessons over KS3/4 Specialism in Humanities. Strong classroom management skills. Have the flexibility to adapt in an ever-changing environment. Have an understanding, empathetic nature. Able to build a rapport with students and faculty. Have patience but assertive. Have experience teaching in this specialism. Ability to follow lesson plans.

What we need from you: Previous classroom experience. QTS DBS. Strong rapport building skills. Knowledge and understanding the importance of physical and emotional wellbeing.

What you need to register with Reed: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application. Provide 5 years relevant references.
