Hays are working with a secondary school in Newport with over 1000 pupils to find a Science teacher. The school set high standards with excellent facilities to encourage the pupils to thrive and achieve their best. Your new role
Starting ASAP, you will be a key part of the dedicated Science department responsible for teaching a timetable of KS3 and KS4 Science lessons to a variety of students of different learning abilities.
Your role will include full teaching responsibilities including staff meetings, parent's evenings, pastoral responsibilities, planning and preparation of lessons along with marking and assessment. This is your chance to put your mark on a school and implement success through your teaching.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified teacher registered with the Education Workforce Council. You will have previous experience in delivering Science lessons within a secondary school and hold a QTS - NQT's encouraged to apply.
You will have a passion for development and a track record in helping pupils to achieve strong results. You will have a strong classroom presence with good behavioural and classroom management skills.
