RecruitmentEducationGlobalServices are currently recruiting for a Science teaching position starting in February 2024 on a long-term contract with the option of progressing to a permanent contract. This is a full-time position working at a secondary school located in Rubery, Birmingham. The position is open to NQT s to apply as well as experienced Science Teachers.

We are seeking an outstanding fully qualified Science Teacher to work on a full-time contract who has experience teaching KS3/KS4 Science including Physics, Chemistry and Biology teaching up to GCSE. The Science teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering the highest-quality lessons and achieving excellent results for their higher-level ability students whilst also motivating students currently under achieving at lower levels.

The pupils you will be teaching have a variety of ability with the school having higher ability pupils you will be expected to make lessons challenging and engaging for all pupils. In this role you will be teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 students GCSE Science. 

The school is looking for a well-rounded Science Teacher who can be adaptable and ensure the whole classroom is engaged in lessons, so you will be expected to display excellent classroom management skills and be confident managing challenging behaviour.

Requirements

• Science Teacher Key Stage 3-4

• Minimum of 1 years relevant UK Classroom teaching experience / NQT s are encouraged to apply
