One of the worlds leading pharmaceutical companies required a SAP Data Governance Manager on an interim basis. You will play an important role in the expansion of Data Governance across the Operations Business Unit, whilst ensuring alignment with Enterprise initiatives. Your specific focus will be Master Data Standards and Quality management to drive high quality data and process performance. You will also take a lead in the Operations response to Data Privacy legislation requirements.

Skills

• Strong Data Governance background, who could help uplift general team capability as well as deliver their own portfolio
• Knowledge of SAP MDG and SAP Data Objects, such as Material Master, BOM, PV, Recipes, Resources, PIR, so they can help document data standards.
• Knowledge of data life cycle processes (Create, Change, Discontinue)
• Ability to identify & articulate the value of the work we are delivering in terms the business can understand.
• Great networking & influencing skills.
• Be able to identify & interact with business SMEs to identify data challenges and identify, plan & deliver data solutions.
• I need an experienced doer' that I don't need to babysit too much. The secondee will be available to them throughout the year, approximately 10% of her time.
• Masters or PhD in Business Administration, Information/Data Science, Informatics, computer science, economics or related discipline. Applicable domain knowledge, eg Therapy Area or Function.
• Network of relevant contacts and relationships, including external links
• Data Governance and Data Management education and certifications
• Applied data management and data science skills, including experience with related tools.
• Experience in data ownership or stewardship
• Proven track record of publishing relevant data governance and policy topics in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and other scientific proceedings

This contract is for an initial 10 months and offers up to 550 per day outside of IR35. It requires 3 days a week on site in Macclesfield with the rest remote.
