Rullion are looking for 2 x electrical fitters for an ongoing contract opportunity with a world leading rail company located out of their depot in Liverpool.
You will play a pivotal role as part of the maintenance team dedicated to the Class 390 Avanti High-Speed Train fleet.
**Shift Pattern:**
Permanent Nights (4 nights on, 4 nights off)
**Duration:**
Ongoing contract, initially for 6 months
**Rates:**
- First 12 weeks:
- PAYE: 22.20 per hour
- Umbrella: 27.83 per hour
- Post 12 weeks:
- PAYE: 25.20 per hour
- Umbrella: 33.37 per hour
Rates are subject to a small increase in the coming weeks.
Please be aware that this position is subject to IR35 regulations, which means that we do not engage with Limited Companies for this role.
**Background Requirements:**
While prior experience in Rolling Stock is preferred, it is not mandatory. However having a background in Aerospace, REME (Engineering in the Armed Forces), HGV/Buses or operating large vehicles is adequate.
**Qualifications:**
Candidates must possess a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or an equivalent recognised qualification) to meet the specified criteria. If you have a Mechanical Engineering Qualification with Electrical Engineering modules included, this could be considered. Additionally, a strong knowledge of Microsoft applications is required.
**Job Description:**
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, your primary responsibilities will encompass servicing, maintaining, and repairing the Class 390 Avanti High-Speed Trains Fleet. As an integral member of the team, you will ensure that traction and rolling stock are serviced and maintained in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, with a continuous emphasis on enhancing quality.
Please note that our client maintains a rigorous zero-tolerance Drug and Alcohol Policy. Be prepared for a Drug and Alcohol test, which may occur either during the interview process or on your first day of employment.
