Job Description:
This customer focused role sits in a Specialist Team in the HR Shared Service at Whitley and will primarily resolve customer enquiries specifically relating to reward matters and be responsible for the delivery of global and/or UK reward processes.
Working closely with Key Business Stakeholders the role will pro-actively keep documentation up-to-date, implement approved changes and continuously seek improvements in order to be able to deliver effective and efficient reward support to the business. The role will support with the delivery of the annual salary review and bonus process. Where required the Reward Consultant will support in the delivery of projects.
The role will co-ordinate and deliver the company's job evaluation, downgrade and stand in process continually looking for improvements. Candidate will support on the legislative reporting requirements. Candidate will act as a reliable source for internal and external reward benchmarking data. The role will work closely with the Recruitment Teams ensuring efficient processes and training is in place. As part of the Reward Team the role will also support colleagues with the resolution of reward queries and ensure that the Annual Cycle Plan for Reward are adequately supported and completed. The Reward Consultant will be expected to flex their workload to support the rest of the Team. It has a key part to play in supporting Colleagues in the Team to gather and analyse data, to prepare work for new initiatives across GRM and to co-ordinate the Annual Compensation Planning Cycle.Skills Required:
- Experience in a reward role.
- At least intermediate level of excel.
- Experience in HR Customer facing role.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience of working in HR Customer Service role at a similar level.
- Experience in a Reward Role.
- Ability to deliver results consistently in a fast-paced HR contact Centre.
- A good level of Excel knowledge.
- Experience working with and updating HR People Management Systems.
- Outstanding analytical understanding and expertise, with close attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task a high personal workload, balancing delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hand on delivery.
- Strong team player.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience Preferred:
- Proven Project Management experience using Project Management techniques eg Project Planning, Risk Management etc.
- Experience of Stakeholder Management Experience of Process Development.
- A good level of IT competence in programmes such as Word, Visio and Power Point.
- Experience of SAP or similar HR databases and compensation planning tool, eg Success Factors or similar.
- Practical experience of working with Global Salary Surveys.
